Brampton Island is located at the base of the Whitsunday Island Passage, just a short distance from Mackay and Hamilton Island. Brampton Island is almost entirely National Park. Brampton Island Resort boasts seven glorious white-sand beaches and its own coral reef. It sits at the southern entrance to the Whitsunday Passage, in blue and balmy tropical waters 32kms north-east of Mackay. The island is blessed with a year-round average temperature of 27° Celsius. Exotic species of land, sea and night birds live in and around the unspoiled forests and every effort is made to protect this natural environment. The other activities that are available, for a reasonable fee, are Jet Ski or kayak tours, Hamilton Island day trips, guided snorkelling trips and adventures at Reefworld or Whitehaven Beach. There are also a number of other water activities such as knee boarding, water skiing, and wakeboarding. Guests can also partake in beer appreciation classes, wine tasting, and cocktail mixing classes. After guests have had their fill of the exciting activities, they are invited to relax at the Sea Spa. They offer facials, massages, and a number of other treatments. Guests are asked to make appointments for treatments and should understand that a fee applies.

Regular flights are available from all Australian capital cities that fly to Mackay daily, with either Qantas or Virgin Blue. You can either make you way to the Marina at Mackay where you will be ferried across to Brampton Island or from the Mackay Airport you can organise a seaplane or charter flight to fly you and your luggage across to the magnificent Brampton Island.
