Air Connections have regular flights and are available from all Australian capital cities to Brampton Island on a daily via Mackay with Qantas. Flights from Mackay are operated by Macair and then the flight between Mackay and Brampton Island takes 20 minutes. Baggage Allowance Passengers may be restricted to one suitcase (maximum weight - 16kg) and one small carry-on item of hand luggage (maximum weight 4kg). Marine Helicopters depart Mackay Airport daily except Christmas Day. The scenic flight takes 15-20 minutes. Passengers may be restricted to one suitcase (maximum weight - 15 kg) and one small carry-on item of hand luggage (maximum weight - 4kg). Please note soft-sided baggage is preferred.
