Brampton Island located in the Whitsunday is accessible by seaplane or Helicopter which can be done from the Mackay Airport after you land from flying in from any of the capital cities in Australia. Virgin Blue and Qantas are the two airlines that service this airport with flights arriving here daily. You can also catch a shuttle bus into the city of Mackay and head to the Marina where a fast cat can also transport you over to the island. Travelling by the train, coach or car are also another option to make your way to Brampton Island, all you need to do is if you are travelling via car, you will have to follow the Bruce Highway all the way to Mackay and with train or coach both service will take you to Mackay directly.
